Not wanting to waste anymore summer play time, John and I gave in and gave Grant his 4 year birthday gift 3 weeks early. Of course it wasn't much of a surprise since it took a day and half to build with the help of our good friends. So much for the instruction notes stating it would take 2 people 4 hours! Grant already loves it.
